Kansas Lakes



Look no further than Kansas Lakes for Fishing, Hunting, Boating, Camping and many more outdoor activities. Kansas has 24 large reservoirs, more than 40 State fishing lakes and over 200 Community lakes for you to enjoy.

The lakes in Kansas and the surrounding areas of each lake makes them unique and well worth a visit. Sometimes the drive to the lake offers many sightseeing opportunities, combine that with some of the attractions that nerby small towns have and you are guaranteed a great outdoor time.

The Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks breaks the State of Kansas up into 5 Regions, all but Region 3 have reservoirs.


The lake links below will give you more information about the lakes, links to maps, plus weather conditions, sunrise and sunset times. You can also get directions to the lakes from anywhere you might live.
